글로벌 제약회사 로슈의 덴마크 지사인 <로슈 덴마크>는 지난 2012년에 아주 특별한 상을 하나 받았습니다. ‘덴마크에서 가장 일하기 좋은 회사’로 선정된 겁니다.
<로슈 덴마크>의 안내데스크에서 방문증을 발급받는 동안 이런 생각이 들었습니다. 나는 지금 ‘신의 직장’, ‘일터 천국’에 들어서고 있다. 덴마크가 세계에서 행복지수 1위의 나라라면, 이곳은 덴마크에서 가장 일하기 좋은 회사이니까, 이곳이야말로 세계에서 가장 행복한 일터가 아니겠는가? 과연 무엇이 다를까?

Roche Denmark, an affiliate of global Roche corporation, received a very special award in 2012. It was recognized as the No. 1 Best Workplace in Denmark.
While I was waiting for my visitor’s pass at the front desk of Roche Denmark, I started wondering, “I am entering a god-given workplace, a workers’ paradise. Since Denmark is happiest country in the world and this is the greatest place to work in Denmark, this must be the happiest workplace in the whole world. What makes this place so special?”
